My name is Jana, the creator of this blog and here’s what you can read about:

TRAVEL

 

A few years of sacrificing to save money was necessary if my husband and I wanted to make our dream of travelling around the world a reality.

 

We knew a good plan would make it less daunting and impossible.

 

Learning how to budget, research destinations, book accommodation,

and create a list of fun things to do was a massive part of this planning journey.

 

If you are someone like me and want to be prepared for all sorts of situations, this blog may have something for you.

 

 

LIFESTYLE

 

In 2004, I moved to England from a small town in Slovakia.

Entirely on my own as a 22-year-old, I set myself a goal to find a better and more meaningful life.

 

After a few years, as my exploring self couldn’t stay put, together with my husband, we also moved to Canada to try life there for a year.

 

Acclimatisation to different cultures, environments, mindsets, eating habits, and new languages made me feel it was a great time to declutter my life and remove what no longer served me.

 

Based on my experiences, I believe that sharing my tips, tricks, alternatives, and habits might also be valuable to someone else who might be in the same position.

MINDFULNESS

 

We all have some battles to fight, problems to solve, and issues to deal with that can leave us deflated and stressed out.

 

In 2020, as probably many of us did, I identified some emotions I hadn’t recognised before and attempted to find ways to deal with them.

 

I have tried different techniques and tools to help me stay sane and motivated, live my life more intentionally and enjoy each day as it comes.

 

I invite you to join me on a journey of mindfulness, inspiration and affirmation that resonates with our personal growth and enriches all aspects of our lives.
